The Crankiest Baby Ever

Adam has been extremely clutchy as of late. And when I say 'clutchy,' I actually mean "DO NOT PUT ME DOWN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES." So, I've been spending my days basically holding him the whole time or having my husband take a turn. Which is really what I need right before Passover. On the other hand, there were so many years that I really wanted to be here - so, I suppose I should say thank G-d I get to complain about my kid being cranky.

Meanwhile, I have figured out how to vacuum, sweep and fold laundry while holding a 21 pound kid at the same time. I have not yet figured out how to wash dishes while holding him - any suggestions welcome. My husband has long since figured out how to get a baby to stay in that sling thing. I've never been able to get it to work so I feel like the baby will not fall out. I think it's a skill or an art - either which I lack the baby wearing talent.

I had a fussy baby that I carried in one of those back carriers with the metal frame. Much more stable, I even coached my son's soccer team while wearing it. Sometimes if the baby is suffering from colic pepermint oil is soothing. If you don't have peppermint oil try putting one of the peppermint candies in water and let it disolve a little.

This is probably too late to be helpful but try a wrap, much more secure. Mamatoto.org teaches about using them. Try a front or back cross carry. Works for me.
